Piggy Shall we? I'll show you how it works in 30 seconds.

The problem

Your bank tells you how much you have,
not how much you can spend.

Part of that money already belongs to someone else: installments, bills, the card, rent. What's actually free is almost always far less than it looks.

What your bank shows you

$1,000,000

A number that feels great… until the 10th rolls around.

What's already committed

−$600,000

Installments, subscriptions, bills and payments that are yours… but spoken for.

What you can actually count on

$400,000

This is the number decisions are made with.

The core idea

This is what Ruwell shows you.

It's not another expense tracker. It's an app that tells you, today, what you can actually count on.

Three questions. One clear answer.

  • Where do I stand today?Every account, all your money, added up and sorted, without opening five apps.
  • What's already committed?Installments, bills and subscriptions that haven't been charged yet, but are already there.
  • What's coming next? What's waiting for you before your next income, day by day.

Importing your transactions is the easy part. The value is in what Ruwell understands and shows you once the data arrives.

Your companion

Meet Piggy.

Piggy spots, explains, anticipates and asks. It doesn't decide for you, and it doesn't judge.

An assistant that gets you.

Piggy runs on artificial intelligence: it reads your transactions, learns how your money moves and explains it plainly, so you can make well-founded decisions.

  • Where you are and where you want to get to. It understands your starting point and your goal, and shows you the real distance between them.
  • Which expenses actually matter to you. It learns which ones are worth it for you and which ones drain your money without you noticing.
  • How your money comes in. Not everyone earns a fixed salary. Piggy understands variable, project-based or seasonal income.

Built for founders. Do your project's finances and your personal ones overlap all the time? Piggy understands both, without making you split them by hand.

  • Clear and brief. No financial jargon, no fine print.
  • Never preachy.Spending isn't a sin. It's information.
  • Never alarmist.Debt gets explained, not dramatised.
  • Options, not orders. It shows you the consequences, and you decide.

Where the name comes from

Ruthwell, Scotland. 1810.

One of the earliest modern savings banks was created there, with a simple purpose: give ordinary people better tools to build financial security.

More than two centuries later, the tools have changed. The idea hasn't. Ruwell is inspired by Ruthwell, and by the belief that financial tools should work for people, not against them.

R U WELL?

And yes, it also reads like this: “are you well?”. We rather like that coincidence.

Frequently asked questions

Everything people ask
when they're just starting.

How does Ruwell help me manage my personal finances?

Ruwell brings all your accounts together in one place, separates the money that's already committed from what's genuinely free, and shows you which payments are due before your next income. Instead of a list of what you spent last month, you see what you can count on today and what's ahead.

What is really available money, and how is it different from my balance?

Your balance is what's in your account right now. What's really available is what's left after subtracting the money that's already spoken for: installments, bills, subscriptions and due dates that haven't been charged yet. It's almost always considerably less than the balance, and it's the number worth deciding with.

Do I have to log my expenses by hand?

No. You connect your accounts once and transactions come in on their own. Ruwell sorts and categorises them; you only step in if something was filed wrong.

Which banks and wallets does it work with?

Ruwell connects to banks, cards and digital wallets across the region to pull transactions in automatically. If your bank isn't integrated yet, you can add the account manually and Ruwell still works out what's really available.

Does it work if I handle more than one currency?

Yes. Ruwell works with more than 150 currencies. If you earn in one, save in another and spend in a third, it converts and adds them up to show you a single number.

Which countries is it available in?

Ruwell is built for Latin America, where buying in installments, having variable income and juggling more than one currency is the norm rather than the exception.

Is Ruwell free?

Yes. There's a free plan with everything you need to see what's really available and what's coming. Ruwell Pro, built for people who work for themselves, adds features to keep the project's finances separate from personal ones.

Is it useful if I don't have a fixed salary?

That's one of the cases it was designed for. Piggy understands project-based, seasonal or variable income, and works out what's coming based on when the money actually arrives, not on a theoretical first of the month.

What exactly does Piggy do?

Piggy is Ruwell's AI assistant. It reads your transactions, recognises patterns, tells you what's coming and answers questions about your money in plain language. It doesn't decide for you and it doesn't judge: it lays out the options so you can decide with information.

How is it different from an expense tracker?

An expense tracker tells you what already happened. Ruwell tells you where you stand today and what comes next. Tracking is the means, not the goal: what matters is being able to get ahead.
